The Ibex Trail
This educational trail allows you to discover the history, fauna and flora of the Val des Dix, upstream from the Grande Dixence dam. The Ibex trail (Sentier des Bouquetins) reaches the Col des Roux pass at an altitude of 2800 m.

The chapel St John was built at the time of the construction of the 1st Dixence dam, in 1931 on the initiative of Mr Jean Landry, then managing director of the SA la Dixence which was dedicated to its patron St John the Baptist.
