Important information for cyclists and mountain bikers:
You may cycle to Grande Dixence, but only as far as the foot of the dam (near the hotel and restaurant). Access to the top of the dam is only possible on foot or by cable car.
Cycling is strictly prohibited within the Federal Wildlife Protection Area:

You may leave your bicycle at the information pavilion. Please remember to bring a bike lock.
